Clement hits in first game at Rochester

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Jeff Clement had a sixth-inning single in his first game in the Minnesota Twins organization, but his Rochester Red Wings fell 12-7 to the Buffalo Bisons in Thursday’s International League game.

The Triple-A game was the opener of the minor league season across all levels, starting at 12:05 p.m. CDT.

Clement, playing in his 536th game at Triple-A, singled during Rochester’s four-run sixth before getting forced out at second base. Batting as the designated hitter, he went 1-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout in his Twins debut.
