Matthew David Puig, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a child endangerment charge and a serious domestic assault charge. The public defender’s office was appointed to handle his cases. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on April 15. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety. The court ordered that he be photographed and fingerprinted before release. A no-contact order was issued for the protected parties.

On Monday, an employee with Burger King, 2605 S. Center St., reported damage to a light pole in the parking lot dislodging all flood lights atop the pole. Estimated value of damage was $1,400.
On Tuesday, Vivette Enriquez, 515 N. 2nd St., reported the theft of two months worth of WIC voucher cards valued at $100 from her vehicle.
On Wednesday, John Lee St. Clair, 506 N. 2nd St., was arrested for interference with official acts.
On Tuesday, Matthew Daniel Puig, 702 Roberts Terrace, was arrested for child endangerment without injury and serious domestic assault.
