Marshalltown Police Department
On Monday, Eric Williams, 311 S. 2nd Ave., reported the theft of a Samsung Nexus from his residence. Estimated value of loss was $500.
On Monday, an employee with Radiant Complexions, 26 S. 1st Ave., reported damage to the west window and the south door at the business. Estimated value of damage was $1,500.
On Monday, Franklin Moradel-Zelaya, 105 W. Grant St. Apt. A, was arrested for serious domestic assault and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Monday, Daniel Robert Lott, 501 E. Anson St., was arrested on a warrant for serious domestic assault.
On Saturday, Franklin Moradel-Zelaya, 105 1/2 W. Grant St. Apt. A, was arrested for obstruction of emergency communications and serious domestic assault.
On March 31, Victoria Dawn Martin, 12 N. 10th St. Apt. #8, was arrested for robbery-first degree.

On April 3, Savannah Marie O’Hair, Homeless, was arrested for failure to appear.
On April 2, Richard James Dolan III, 521 N. 1st St. Apt. #1, was arrested for violation of pre-trial release.

On March 31, Luis Miguel Madrigal-Roman, 806 Bromley St., was arrested for failure to appear.
On Monday, Kenneth Gjersvik, of Clemons, was arrested for reckless use of fire.
On Sunday, Michael Dean Luethje, 803 E. State St., was arrested for harassment-second degree, public intoxication-second offense and interference with official acts.
On Saturday, Jayson Lee Martin, of Altoona, was arrested for drunkenness.
On Friday, Dawn Michelle Kujala, of Le Grand, was arrested for forgery.
On Friday, Terry Ray Gray, of Le Grand, was arrested for parole violation.
Grundy County Sheriff’s Office
On March 28, Joseph Jones, age 24, of Cedar Falls, was arrested by a Iowa Department of Transportation officer on a Grundy County warrant charging him with contempt of court. Jones was released by the courts.
On March 26, Thomas Schons Jr., age 38, of Cedar Falls, was arrested Buchanan County authorities on a Grundy County warrant charging him with failure to appear. He pleaded guilty and was released to the Tama County authorities on a Tama County warrant also charging failure to appear.
On March 24, a car driven by Shana Zellaha, age 21, of Spencer, was eastbound on Highway 20 west of Dike when it went out of control on the snowy roadway and crossed the median colliding head-on with a vehicle driven by Patricia Abele, age 63, of Klemme which was traveling west on Highway 20. There was no report of injuries at this time. Zellaha was cited for failure to maintain control. Damage to the Zellaha car was estimated at $7,000 while the Abele vehicle received an estimated $6,500 in damage.
On March 24, a car driven by Brianna Jewett, age 21, of Manchester, was westbound on Highway 20 when it went out of control, entered the north ditch and rolled. Jewett received minor injuries. Damage to the Jewett car was estimated at $6,000.
