Marshalltown Police Department
On Wednesday, Consuelo Garcia, 1012 Bromley St., was arrested for identity theft.
On Wednesday, Lauresa Squire, of Tama, was arrested for driving under the influence.
On Thursday, Justin James Holder, 2 Edgeland Dr., was arrested for violation of a no-contact order-contempt of court.
On Thursday, Patrick Keegan Bracy, 1308 Woodbury St. was arrested for driving while barred.
On Wednesday, Dionte Bryant Trimble, 3194 Quarry Rd., was arrested for aggravated domestic assault-enhanced, criminal mischief-fifth degree and aggravated domestic assault-strangulation.
On Wednesday, a pickup driven by William Clarence Lee, 202 N. 2nd Ave. Apt. #2, was northbound on South Third Avenue when it left the roadway, entered the Jiffy Mart gas station parking lot and hit a newer utility pole owned by Alliant Energy causing it to strike the roof line to 109 S. 3rd Ave., damaging the tile edging to the building’s roof. Lee was transported to the Veterans Affair Hospital with possible injuries. Damage to the Lee pickup was estimated at $10,000 while the Alliant utility pole received an estimated $1,200 in damage and the Jiffy Mart building an estimated $1,000 in damage.
On April 9, a car driven by Moo Thaw, 805 S. 12th Ave., was leaving a parking spot at Hoglan Elementary School after dropping off a student when it collided with a vehicle driven by Mauricio X. Villeda, 111 Thunderbird Dr., which was in the process of leaving the lot. No injuries were reported. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $2,000 each.
On Friday, a car driven by Luz Mendez Rath, 209 W. Church St., was northbound on South Center Street in the inside lane when it veered and collided with a vehicle driven by Gerald Duane Gade, of Conrad, which was traveling in the outside lane and pushed it into East South Street. No injuries were reported. Rath was cited for no driver’s license. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $4,000 each.
On April 12, a truck driven by Michael Edward Nolte, of Hampton, was westbound on East Anson Street when it went through a red light at the intersection with South First Avenue and collided with a vehicle driven by Leslie Charles Green, of Conrad, which was proceeding to turn left on a green light. No injuries were reported. Nolte was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device. Damage to the Nolte truck was estimated at $300 while the Green vehicle received an estimated $3,000 in damage.
On Wednesday, it was reported that eye glasses were damaged in a domestic assault at 311 S. 2nd St. Apt. #4. Estimated value of damage was $200.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Office
On April 12, an employee with Mid-Iowa Cooperative, 502 Green Mountain Rd., reported damage to a Dodge Ram pickup while parked at Mid-Iowa. Estimated value of damage was $2,500.
On April 11, Richard Allen Bessman, of Green Mountain, reported scratch damage to the left rear quarter panel and a rear tail light broken on a 2001 Ford F150 pickup while parked at his residence. Estimated value of damage was $10,000.
On Wednesday, Timothy Todd Weese, of Le Grand, was arrested for violation of pre-trial release and simple assault.
On Tuesday, Thomas Dean Zimmerman, of Sheldahl, was arrested for driving under suspension and open container.
On April 14, Richendra Lynn Day, of Bondurant, was arrested for operating while intoxicated-first offense and unlawful possession of prescription drugs.
On April 14, Timothy Todd Weese, of Le Grand, was arrested for simple assault-intimidation.
On April 13, Kyler Nathaniel Zatovich, 2015 Catalina Place, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
On April 12, Tiatwas Jawara Waites, of Des Moines, was arrested for probation violation.
On April 12, Gerald Sanford Price, of New Providence, was arrested for driving while revoked, operating while intoxicated, open container-driver and no insurance.
On April 11, Zachary Steven, 2155 230th St., was arrested for operating while intoxicated-first offense, interference with official acts and on a Story County warrant charging him with theft-fifth degree.
On April 11, Tung Gach, 309 N. 12th Ave., was arrested for failure to appear.
On April 10, Daniel Leroy Campbell, 206 Nicholas Dr., was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
On April 10, Jessica Ann Hartwig, 501 S. 6th St., was arrested for failure to appear.
Marshalltown Fire Department
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to seven medical assists with the EMS crew to: 3120 S. 2nd St., 101 W. Iowa Ave., 1605 Jackson St., 205 N. 5th St., 512 S. 6th St., 313 Sharon Ave., and 109 S. 2nd St.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 711 E. Linn St., 406 S. 9th St., and 301 1/2 S. 15th Ave.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to five fire calls at: 1301 Summit St., 1211 W. State St., 20 E. State St., 509 W. Madison St., and 1 W. Grant St.
