‘Can Do-Benefit’ a success
The Emergency Food Box would like to express our sincere appreciation to Marshalltown and surrounding communities for the tremendous response to the Marshall Town Center “Can Do-Benefit.” Due to the generosity of many, the Food Box has been restocked with a huge variety of food. Many thanks!
Thanks to Ken Huge, general manager of the Marshall Town Center, and to Susan Schuett-Krough, marketing coordinator who made this project such a success. We are most grateful to the many groups and businesses for their creative entries, to Adland Printing who provided the award plaque for the winner and to the Knights of Columbus and Food Box volunteers who helped dismantle the displays and sort and load the food to be transported to the Food Box. In order for clients to benefit from this tremendous donation, during the summer months clients may be referred to the Food Box every 30 days.
Words cannot adequately express our heartfelt gratitude to all who made this possible. May God bless each of you for showing your care and concern for those who have emergency hunger needs.
