Triumphant Quartet returns to Cedar Falls

Triumphant Quartet returns at 6 p.m. Saturday to the Riverview Conference Center. Doors open at 5 p.m. A pre-concert dinner is also available with advance reservation.

This award-winning quartet, formed in 2002, brings its talent and love for the Lord to the forefront in each concert with traditional southern, as well as progressive gospel, sound. In 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, Triumphant was voted by the Singing News fan awards as Favorite Male Quartet of the Year. In addition to that honor, Eric Bennett was voted Favorite Bass Singer of the Year in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. Jeff Stice received the award as the 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 Singing News Favorite Musician of the Year.

The group’s recent recording project, Songs from the Heart, came from each member of the group because each wrote two songs. They have just received their third No. 1 song, “Almost Home,” written by Scotty Inman. Also climbing the charts is their second single release, “Let’s All Stand for America,” written by David Sutton, from this same project. Triumphant’s album, Songs from the Heart, was named favorite Album of the Year by the Singing News magazine.

With all of the accolades, numerous top 10 radio singles and continued success, the men of Triumphant keep their work in perspective.
