On June 23, Gary Dean Cooling, of Le Grand, reported damage to a passenger side rear Goodyear tire on a 2002 Dodge Dakota and the theft of a homemade sundial and a homemade bench swing. Estimated value of loss was $310.
On Wednesday, Lonnie Douglas Poweshiek, of Montour, was arrested for failure to serve jail sentence.
On Tuesday, Byron Wayne Langland, 2151 Yates Ave., was arrested for serious domestic assault.
On Monday, Heather Lynn Bell, 510 N. 15th Ave., was arrested for contempt of court.
On Thursday, a motorcycle driven by Wayne Roger Wilkey, of Tama, was eastbound on Highway 30 when the driver began to cough uncontrollably causing him to lose control of the motorcycle, veer across both lanes of traffic where it struck the guardrail. The rider was knocked off the motorcycle which continued sliding down the roadway. Wilkey was transported to Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center with injuries. Damage to the Wilkey motorcycle was estimated at $1,500.
On Thursday, a pickup driven by Linda Kay Kuhl, of Beaman, was southbound on Highway 14 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Kuhl pickup was estimated at $3,000.
On Wednesday, a car driven by Mary Kathleen Flack, of Nevada, was eastbound on E-29 when it struck a deer that entered the road. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Flack car was estimated at $1,500.
On Tuesday, a car driven by Shane Michael Burns, of Grinnell, was southbound on Zeller Avenue when it left the roadway, traveled down the right shoulder before entering the west ditch, traveled through the ditch before contacting the north ditch at the intersection with 220th Street, became airborne striking the stop sign as it landed and rolled several times before coming to rest. Burns was transported to Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center with injuries. Damage to the Burns car was estimated at $15,000 while the stop sign owned by Marshall County received an estimated $250 in damages.

The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to six medical assists with the EMS crew to: 905 E. Anson St., 303 S. First St., 220 Glenda Drive, 406 S. 15th Ave., 2506 S. Center St. and 1 W. Grant St.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to three fire calls to: 403 N. 15th St., 1001 W. State St. and 112 S. 12th St. and five medical assists with the EMS crew to: 1410 S. Second St., 1211 W. State St., 103 S. Ninth St., 1400 Lincoln Tower Circle and 519 N. Third St.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a HazMat situation at 25 W. Main St., a call to 428 Union St., a medical call with the EMS crew to 933 S. Ninth Ave. and four rescue calls to: 2907 S. Sixth St., 609 E. Main St., 802 S. Center St. and 122 W. Main St.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a fire call at 101 NewCastle Road, two rescue calls to 1500 W. Lincolnway and 919 S. 12th Ave. and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 508 Highland Acres Road, 706 W. Southridge Road and 1211 W. State St.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a call to 2205 1/2 S. Center St., two fire calls to 2301 Knollway Drive and 2205 1/2 S. Center St., and four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 408 W. High St., 7 N. 17th St., 201 S. Second St. and 2105 Governor Road.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a fire call to 1002 S. Third Ave. and 10 medical assists with the EMS crew to: 208 W. Grant St., 1304 S. Center St., 1211 W. State St., 303 Nicholas Drive, 3202 S. 12th St., 403 S. Second St., 201 N. Second St., 514 Bromley St., 206 Nicholas Drive and 919 Jackson St.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a fire call to 10 W. Boone St. and eight medical assists with the EMS crew to: 206 Nicholas Drive, 512 S. Sixth St., 2802 S. Center St., 2305 S. Center St., 201 S. Fourth St., 505 S. Fifth St., 1610 W. Fremont St., 3002 Arnold Drive and 10 W. Boone St.
