South Tama falls twice in non-conference play
The South Tama County Trojans will take two straight losses into the postseason after losses to Center Point-Urbana and Ballard this week.
Center-Point Urbana jumped out to a 10-0 lead after one inning and cruised to a 13-1 win on Monday and then Ballard (16-15) started fast and plated two runs in the final inning during a 4-1 win in the Trojans’ home finale Tuesday night.

Dalton Doyle started, went the distance and lost on the mound, allowing six hits and one earned run while walking three and striking out three.
