Knights of Columbus golf event a success

The Knights of Columbus Council 966 held its annual charity golf outing at Collison’s Par Three Golf Course on Aug. 25. The weather was hot but fun was had by all. We want to thank all those who participated in the golf outing and made this event a tremendous success again this year.

The Knights raised approximately $2,800 for the Marshalltown Area Catholic Schools. Numerous volunteers helped to make this event successful including: Mike Vanderah; Fritz and Terry Polt; Tom Lang; Eldon Schneider; Richard Loney; Gary Underwood and Dawn at the K.C. Hall. Special thanks also go out to our friends at Collison’s Par 3 and Mark Collison for the use his golf course for the day.
