On Wednesday, an employee at Casey’s General Store, 1009 W. Lincoln Way, reported an armed robbery. Estimated value of loss was $150 in cash.
On Thursday, Kelsey Leigh Bown, 10 N. 11th Ave., was arrested for child endangerment without injury and simple domestic assault.

On Thursday, Chester John Brown, 610 N. First Ave., was arrested for operating while intoxicated-first offense and driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway.
On Wednesday Richardo Antonio Rodriguez, 401 Melody Lane Apt. #4, was arrested for driving while barred-habitual offender.
On Wednesday Jose Miguel Chavez, 2552 Smith Ave. Lot #103, was arrested for child endangerment.
On Wednesday, Candace Rae Klaas, 1205 E. Boone St. Apt. #1, was arrested on four applications of probation revocation.
On Wednesday, Robert Tyler Woodard, of Des Moines, was arrested for violation of probation.
On Sept. 15, Douglas Melvin Suchy, 1108 Iowa Ave. West, was arrested for operating while intoxicated-first offense and improper brake light.
On Tuesday, a minivan driven by David Craig Sanderson, 211 Huisman Circle, was westbound on West Main Street Road when it turned left into the path of an oncoming car driven by Rogelio Minjares-Simental, 912 May St., as it attempted to turn into a private driveway on the crest of a hill and a collision occurred. Sanderson, Minjares-Simental and passenger, Ashley Nicole Sanchez, 109 N. Second St., were all transported to Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center with possible injuries. Sanderson was cited for failure to yield right of way and Minjares-Simental was cited for failure to have insurance-accident related and operating while intoxicated-second offense. Damage to the Sanderson minivan was estimated at $6,000 while the Minjares-Simental car received an estimated $7,500 in damage.
