ABC’s ‘Lucky 7’ 1st show of season to get axed

NEW YORK – The ABC drama “Lucky 7” has won a dubious derby as the first television show of the new season to be cancelled. ABC said Friday the show is gone after two episodes.

The show is about a group of lottery winners. It’ll be replaced on Tuesday night’s schedule temporarily by reruns of the network’s hit show “Scandal.”

“Lucky 7” is a remake of a British series. It even counted Steven Spielberg as one of its executive producers.
