Tam Elerding, Program Director of the Hardin County Community Endowment Foundation and Christie Pence, Chairperson of the Hardin County Performance Series invite you to fill the seats of the South Hardin High School auditorium for the upcoming show, “Guitars on Fire”, at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Tickets are available now at Hardin County Savings Bank, Greenbelt Bank & Trust and at the door. This outstanding performance is another example of HCCEF and HCPS working together to bring quality LIVE productions to the county.

The county wide performing arts organization is supported by the Hardin County Arts and Culture Endowment Fund which is under the care of HCCEF. The Hardin County Arts and Culture Endowment Fund was created just three years ago after the phenomenal success of the Simon Estes event held in Iowa Falls.

“Guitars on Fire” is master guitarist, showman, composer and independent recording artist, Alex Fox and his two sons, David and Sebastian. Locals Bob and Nancy Webb happened up on the trio while on a Florida vacation and loved them so much they went back for a second night of their high octane performance.

The live concert will feature an exciting fusion of classical, rumba and flamenco rhythms with a Mediterranean flair that has audiences all over the world cheering. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Alex Fox received a well rounded musical education in his native Argentina with great masters in guitar, harmony, and conducting.

Music has always occupied his life – at age six he began piano lessons and soon moved on to classical guitar. As a teenager Alex Fox received a scholarship to train with the director of the Teatro Colon Symphony Orchestra in Buenos Aires. It was at the Teatro Colon where he learned to conduct and write his own compositions and began to earn a living teaching music and playing in his own band.

He later continued his studies in the U.S. at Miami Dade College where he received a full scholarship.

The Hardin County Arts and Culture Endowment Fund was created for the purpose of bringing high quality live entertainment to Hardin County.
