On Monday, an employee with Premier Office Equipment, 1510 E. Olive St., reported damage to a passenger side window on two different Ford vans while parked at the business. Estimated value of damage was $200 each.
On Monday, a member of the Moose Lodge, 1516 E. Olive St., reported damage to a glass door at the Lodge and the theft of an unknown amount of money from a locked office. Estimated value of damage was $1,000.
On Monday, Melinda McMahon, 1004 Benjamin Drive, reported hit and run damage to the left front on a Chrysler Town & Country minivan at the intersection of Center and Church Streets. Estimated value of damage was $1,000.
On Dec. 6, Jerry Lee Clark, 1005 W. Nevada St., reported the theft of two Hawkeye lawn ornaments from his residence. Estimated value of loss was $215.
On Monday, Lea Ellen Waseskuk, 702 Roberts Terrace, was arrested for serious domestic assault.
On Sunday, Christopher Young, 301 S. Fourth Ave. Apt. #6, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order-contempt, open container and public intoxication.
On Tuesday, Savvanah Sara Ponce, 601 N. Fifth Ave., was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a Schedule I controlled substance-marijuana.
On Tuesday, Matthew Charles Earhart, 622 W. Boone St., was arrested for violation of a no-contact order.
On Tuesday, Bradley Isaac Shuckahosee, of Tama, was arrested for unlawful possession of prescription drugs-Xanax.
On Wednesday, Lyndon Bert Johnson, of Tama, was arrested for public intoxication-enhanced.
On Monday, a car driven by Jesus Antonio Rangel-Escarzaga, 1008 S. 11th Ave., was northbound in the 900 block of 11th Avenue attempting to brake for a stop sign at the intersection with East Anson Street when the car started to slide on the slush. In an attempt to stop, the driver turned the car toward the curb for assistance, but it jumped the curb and struck the stop sign before coming to rest. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Rangel-Escarzaga car was estimated at $1,500 while the stop sign received an estimated $400 in damage.
On Monday, a car driven by Tyler John Rundall, 1510 Fremont St., was westbound on Jerome Street when it spun out of control and struck a utility pole. No injuries were reported. Rundall was cited for failure to maintain control. Damage to the Rundall car was estimated at $2,000 while the utility pole owned by Alliant Energy, 1911 E. Anson St., received an estimated $100 in damage.

On Sunday, a vehicle driven by Jesus Pina, 205 S. Third St., was westbound on 240th Street when it went out of control on a snowy bridge and struck the bridge guardrail. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Pina vehicle was estimated at $2,500.
On Dec. 5, a car driven by Ryan David Tish, 1605 W. Main St., was westbound on Main Street Road when the driver missed a turn and attempted to make a hard left turn onto Eastman Avenue, went out of control on the loose gravel and entered the west ditch where the rear axle broke causing it to hit the “Arrow Sign” in the ditch before coming to rest on its left side. No injuries were reported. Tish was cited for no valid driver’s license, no insurance and failure to maintain control. Damage to the Tish car was estimated at $4,000.
