Family: Pam Brandenburg, Ken Brandenburg and James Dobbins. Wife is Alejandra. Additionally there is Jerry, a brother, and Kris, a stepsister.

Hobbies and Interests: Fishing, boxing and blues.


Occupation: Grounds superintendent at Riverside Cemetery in Marshalltown.

What that means: I maintain the cemetery and equipment.

Tenure: Approximately eight months.

If I could change jobs: I would be a National Basketball Association referee.


Movies: “Cadillac Records,” directed by Darnell Martin, and “Dogma,” directed by Kevin Smith.

Food: Gorditas

Sports: The Oklahoma City Thunder of the NBA.


Best part of living here: Living the simple life.

Most Influential people: Tim Bell, my parents and my wife.

Advice to others: Slow down, and enjoy what and who is around you.
