On Thursday, Julian Mendoza Jr., 413 Swayze St., was arrested for failure to appear.
On Wednesday, Jeremy Lynn Lavender, 404 Melody Lane Apt. #2, was arrested for failure to appear on a driving under suspension charge.
On Tuesday, Codi James Hofer, 1102 S. Third Ave., was arrested for possession of a Schedule I controlled substance and solicitation to sell marijuana.
On Tuesday, Brady James Black, 211 N. 10th St., was arrested for possession with the intent to deliver.
On Jan. 10, Jacob Lee Catherwood, 112 W. Lincoln St., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a driving while barred charge.
On Tuesday, Spencer Guy Ferguson, of Hampton, was arrested for probation violation.
On Tuesday, Joseph Michael Witte, 911 W. State St., was arrested for two counts of bond revocation.
On Thursday, a vehicle driven by Michael John Carter, of Des Moines, was northbound on Highway 330 when it struck a deer that entered the traveled portion of the roadway from the median causing disabling damage. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Carter vehicle was estimated at $3,000.

On Jan. 7, Randle Christian Scott Hughley, of St. Anthony, was cited for theft-third degree and the willful removal of two theft detection devices from DVDs at K-Mart.
On Tuesday, Juan Miguel Sandoval, of Waterloo, was arrested for trespass.
On Tuesday, Rosalva Castellanos, 604 W. Boone St., was arrested for trespass.
On Tuesday, Jason Blackford, 2681 Dillon Road, was arrested for driving while revoked.
On Monday, Eduardo Contreras-Ordaz, 10 N. Fourth St., was arrested for sexual abuse in the third degree, driving while barred and serious domestic assault.

On Thursday, Shelley Lynn Gilgen, 1602 S. Fifth St., reported hit and run damage to the driver side front bumper on a vehicle while parked at her residence. Estimated value of damage was $2,000.
On Thursday, Kraig Lageschulte reported for Wendy Sue Olinger, 211 Harmony Drive, hit and run damage to the front bumper on a vehicle parked at 10 W. State St. Estimated value of damage was $1,000.
On Wednesday, Ranae Osgood, 308 S. 12th Ave. Place, reported damage to walls by a sledge hammer at 411 W. Madison St. Place. Estimated value of damage was $500.
On Thursday, Craig Linn Peterson, 1003 S. Eighth Ave., was arrested for operating while intoxicated-second offense.
On Thursday, Terry Ray Gray, of Le Grand, was arrested for operating while intoxicated-third offense and driving while barred.
On Jan. 4, Todd Allan Oldenburger, address unknown, was arrested for forgery.
On Monday, a car driven by Taylor Kay Appelgate, 2816 170th St., was eastbound in the left turn lane on East Anson Street at the intersection with South Third Avenue and when the light turned green it entered the intersection where it collided with a minivan driven by Jose Guadalupe Garcia Hernandez, 1017 S. Eighth Ave., which was traveling west on Anson attempting to turn north onto Third Avenue. Appelgate was transported to the emergency room at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center by a friend and passenger Rosa Rodriguez De Garcia, 1017 S. 18th Ave., was transported to Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center by the Marshalltown Area Paramedic Service. Appelgate was cited for failure to yield upon left turn. Damage to the Appelgate car was estimated at $3,500 while the Garcia Hernandez minivan received an estimated $2,500 in damage.
