Man punches roommate in face

A local man who allegedly punched his roommate in the face and gave her a bloody nose has been arrested.

Vincent Cronbaugh, 43, was arrested Thursday, at his apartment on the 300 block of Bromley Street, after the victim called police.

The victim was behind on her rent and Cronbaugh was upset, which led to an argument, according to police. The victim’s boyfriend got in between the two, then they continued the fight until officers arrived.

Cronbaugh then refused to obey the officer, leading the officer to pull him out of a chair to handcuff him.

While making the arrest drug paraphernalia was found on the table next to Cronbaugh.

Cronbaugh is charged with serious assault, interference with official acts and possession of drug paraphernalia. The victim was taken to the emergency room.
