Seventh grader yearns for knowledge

When it comes to work in his seventh grade science class, Miller Middle School student Dameon Schumacher wants to learn right away.

“He wants to know things right then and there,” said Miller teacher Kaitlyn Fish. “He is constantly working hard in science.”

Schumacher, 13, said “knowledge is very good,” which is why he strives for more of it.

Schumacher also has shown a knack for being an artist. He said he’s been drawing his whole life and has continued to get better at it.

“He’s an amazing artist,” Fish said.
