Bobcat Ball raises $53,000

“Success is sweetest when it’s shared…..”

The success of the Bobcat Ball, a fundraising event held on May 4 for the renovation of the MHS Roundhouse, was due to the power of teamwork. The profit from this event was over $53,000, all thanks to the following team players:

The Bobcat Ball Committee

The sponsors of the Bobcat dignitaries

The generous donors of the unique auction items

The many volunteers who gave of their time and talents

And to the public who purchased the $50 tickets to attend this “night to remember.”

Quoting George Burns, “When you stop giving and offering something to the rest of the world, it’s time to turn out the lights.” The Bobcat Ball definitely symbolized that Marshalltown’s Roundhouse supporters have been a source of “light” that will extend well into the future.

My sincere gratitude goes to all of those who gave of themselves to create a very successful event!
