Jacob Dent, address unknown, filed an initial appearance through counsel, Kevin O’Hare, on a charge of credit card fraud. He waived the preliminary hearing.

Nicholas Bryant Morgan, Homeless, made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree-possession of stolen property charge, a public intoxication charge and a providing a false identity upon arrest charge. The public defender’s office was appointed to handle his case. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on July 9. Morgan was released on his own recognizance. The court ordered that Morgan be photographed and fingerprinted prior to release.

Thaddeus Graves, 402 Union St., made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. He pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge, a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $272.75 plus restitution if applicable. Payment is due within 30 days of today’s date.

Monty E. Spangler, of Clemons, made an initial appearance on a criminal mischief-fifth degree charge and a trespass charge. He pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9 a.m. on July 22 in Magistrate Court. Spangler will hire his own counsel. He was released on his own recognizance.
