Resides: La Moille – we moved to the area four years ago.

Hometown: Cedar Rapids

Family: My husband Tom Hillers and he works at Nationwide in Des Moines. My son Dutch is 4, and my daughter Dulcinea is 2. Our son Duke, the newest addition, was born July 28. My parents, Tim Wuest and Janet (Stegmann) Wuest are originally from Marshalltown but now live in Cedar Rapids. I have two older sisters, Amanda of Bowling Green, Ky., and Amelia of Des Moines.

Hobbies: I am currently consumed with restoring a farm house, barn, and milk house originally built in 1870. It has been an adventure! Additionally, I am always in search of a great book to read. Tom and I like to travel, try new restaurants, and spend time with our kids.

Occupation: I am a wealth management advisor at United Bank & Trust, N.A. in Marshalltown. My current position at the bank is an excellent fit because I can utilize the knowledge and experience I gained in estate planning and administration to provide our clients with a clear road map for their retirement and investment goals. The best part of my job are the great clients and coworkers. However, if I could do anything else, I would be a fiction author.

Food: My favorite foods when I was in my ninth month of pregnancy were Cheddar Cheese Pringles, and watermelon.

Best part of living here: The best part of living near and working in Marshalltown is getting to be a part of the city’s growth. I know this is not the Marshalltown my parents grew up in – it’s better! Whether it’s the Marshalltown High School Round House, the new hospital, or the fantastic Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA and public library, there are a lot of great things happening here. I also appreciate that I can get anywhere in town in 10 minutes – no traffic is a huge perk.
